Each year, during the annual conference of the ECS, a video night is hosted by the local conference organisers. This is an evening social event allowing conference attendees to share experiences from the field. The videos range from thought-provoking to artistic to simply comic.
In 2014 the ECS gratefully received a small legacy from the former Baleine Libre organisation, from which it grants a small cash prize for the best film in some years. Past winners of the award are listed below:
